Lars Soren Lagerback is a Swedish goalballer aged 34 who plays for Russian Premier side Dynamo as a Midfielder. He has previously played for Stockholm College, Malmo, Helsingborgs, Bratislava and Murmansk. He has represented Sweden 121 times scoring 46 times. He began playing for Stockholm College in 1998 as amateur where he was studying. In 2000 He was bought by Malmo and later in the year Helsingborgs. Lagerback said he enjoyed the Swedish league but he had to move onto better things. On the 21st of July 2004 there was controversy over his transfer as it was reported he had signed for Danish club Brondby. Brondby had later announced this on their website. Unusually, in Bratislava's pre season match against fellow Slovakian side Sloreyan, in the 86th minute, Lagerback walked in wearing a suit and tie and shook the Bratislava coach's hand. It was revealed later that day that Brondby hadn't confirmed the deal and their was rumour about failed personal terms. This was all denied by Brondby. Helsingborgs had apparently prevented Lagerback from joining Brondby. Brondby backed this claim. Lagerback claimed that he wanted to sign from Bratislava and that Brondby could only dream of having him. This frustrated Brondby and he joined Bratislava. In 2006 he joined Murmansk in Russia. Moneybags Dynamo signed him in 2012.
